Patrick Ortell is a serial entrepreneur and the founder and CTO of arus.io. With over 20 years of experience in software development, he has become a recognized leader in the industry, known for his hands-on approach to building high-performance engineering teams.

Patrick has a diverse technical background, with experience in custom software development in industries ranging from web3 to healthcare and traditional SaaS. He is a certified AWS Solutions Architect and has expertise in DevOps tooling, including CI/CD pipelines and application monitoring with Grafana and Prometheus.

As a full-stack developer, Patrick has a deep understanding of modern programming languages and tools and design patterns. He has worked on projects involving big data, machine learning, web3, and traditional SaaS applications, and is passionate about building user-centric applications that exceed client expectations.

In addition to his technical expertise, Patrick is an experienced project manager and agile practitioner. He has led development teams for companies ranging from early-stage startups to Fortune 500 companies, and has specialized in go-to-market and disruption of industries. Patrick has experience with lean Kanban and scaled agile framework, and is a certified Scrum Master and Product Owner.

Patrick is also experienced in technical consulting and has worked with investors on technical due diligence and building engineering-centric cultures. He has served as a fractional CTO and has developed technical roadmaps for startups, helping them to achieve their goals and attract funding.
